Although Grey's Anatomy has been on for years, it is still very popular not just teenagers, but also adults.  Some of the material in the show is a bit suggestive, but if you are interested in a medical story line, then you will love the show.  It is not only filled with drama, but also some scenes are very suspenseful, especially in the operating room, or when a trauma comes in.  If you are just starting to watch it, I would suggest either getting online and starting from season one, so you understand what exactly is happening, and you also meet a variety of characters along the way.  The show comes on Thursday nights, at eight.  You don't want to miss it!

Twisted is a mystery drama, that follows the troubled life of Danny Desai after he returns home from juvenile detention for murdering his aunt.  He tries to fit in at school, get his old friends back, and live his old normal life, when he is framed for killing a girl he goes to school with.  His old friends Jo and Lacey try to stand up for him, but don't know if he is forgivable.  You can check it out on abcfamily.com to catch the episodes from season 1.

Recently, a new show Ravenswood aired.  The show is centered in the town of Ravenswood, which is not far from Rosewood, where Pretty Little Liars.  Five strangers find themselves connected by a fatal curse and need to dig in to the town's terrible history before it is too late for them.  Caleb Rivers, played by Tyler Blackburn, from Pretty Little Liars is one of the main characters of the show.  If you like mysteries and suspense, this show if for sure for you.

The new ABC family reality series, The Vineyard, is full of drama! The Vineyard is set in Martha's Vineyard, and features the islands iconic Black Dog Tavern. This series cast is full of locals, as well as summer workers that all live together at the Black Dog house.  Yes, is sounds like Jersey Shore, but doesn't have all the clubs, and drunken nights.  The cast is a great variety of people from a pre-med student to a hopeless romantic.  The Vineyard is great for all genders, and all ages from teens to adults.  You would be crazy not to enjoy the show!

This week is all about the show Pretty Little Liars. The show started out in 2010 with five best friends.  Alison DiLaurentis, the queen bee of the group, Aria Montgomery the artsy one, Spencer Hastings, the genius, Emily Fields the jock, and Hanna Marin, the "it girl".  The clique soon falls apart after Alison, the leader disappears. One year after her disappearance, the four girls start receiving messages from A, who threatens to expose their secrets.  At first, the think it is Alison, but they soon realize it isn't after her body is found.  The girls continue to receive more and more information from the mysterious A figure.  The whole point of the show is to figure out what happened to Alison, and to find out who is trying to expose their secrets.
I would highly recommend this show if you are interested in mysteries, and like tons of suspense. It comes on every Tuesday night at 8/7c.

Today teens are watching more TV shows than ever.  From Pretty Little Liars, to Twisted, to The Walking Dead.  Yes many of these shows have an interesting plot to them, and relate to teens lives, but should teens be watching them?  What are the real stories behind them?  Are these shows full of violence, and what about the reality TV series?  There's not many cases where a few guys and a few girls all live in the same house and go to clubs every night.  Is this putting images into our head, saying that it is okay for teens to behave this way when we all know it's not?  But are there any other TV shows to watch that are interesting to teens?
